1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Plentio, a financial insights and planning platform operated by Plentio. By accessing our website or using our platform, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Eligibility

To use Plentio, you must be at least 18 years old, possess the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract, and reside in South Africa. Use outside South Africa is at your own risk and may be subject to different legal requirements.

3. Services Provided

Plentio provides digital tools that help users understand their financial position, track spending, identify savings opportunities, and assess investment options. While we aim to guide users toward better financial decisions, we do not act as financial advisors unless specifically licensed and disclosed as such under the FAIS Act. Information provided on the platform should not be construed as personalised financial advice.

4. Account Registration and Access

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

5. Acceptable Use

By using Plentio, you agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer or copy the platform’s underlying code or systems

All content on the platform, including branding, software, text, graphics, and design, is owned by or licensed to Plentio. You may not use or reproduce any part of the platform without our express written permission.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The platform is provided “as is” and “as available.” While we strive to maintain accurate information, we do not guarantee completeness, accuracy, or timeliness. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Plentio is not liable for any loss, including financial loss, resulting from your reliance on the platform.

9. Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion if you breach these Terms, misuse the platform, or if your activity poses a risk to other users or our systems.

10. Legal Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to users, and your continued use of the platform will constitute acceptance of the revised Terms.
